Cath has a definition of perfect temperature--you simply don't notice it!  This morning, I didn't notice the temperature.  I did notice the amazing azure of the South Dakota sky!  I noticed the joy of wind in my face as we pedalled on my favorite bike path.  I noticed the woman who rode with me, and has ridden with me for almost 40 years.  I could speak to her strength of character.  I could speak to her common sense.  I could speak to her exceptional teaching skills.  I could speak to the care she gives and the love she shares to our families and friends.  But I will speak to her perseverance.  Like any relationship, there have been times when I'm positive she would have throttled me had the opportunity arisen.  She didn't.  There have been times when my inability to find something has driven her to distraction, but she has found her way back.  There have been times when my focus has been any where but on her, but she has waited.  There have been times when...well, you get the picture.  This is a woman of substance!  This is a woman of intelligence.  This is a woman who cares.  And this is the woman I married and would again, immediately, in a heart beat!  Sometimes, you just need to say something and see it written.  Thanks for letting me do that.  And know you are loved!
